Before Christmas, Stillwater Elks Lodge #179 stopped by to carol for our residents. They brought Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves of all ages to spread holiday cheer. Oak Park Senior Living has been fortunate to have many groups of carolers stopping by this holiday season.

Gingerbread Houses

December 18th, 2017

To get into the holiday spirit, several residents gathered together to make gingerbread houses. The activity was led by Marj Arndt, who used to own a candy shop. Everyone had a wonderful time reminiscing about holiday baking as they worked on their creations. They found that decorating the houses wasn’t as easy as it looked, but they turned out beautifully!

Christmas Party

Oak Park Senior Living held its annual Christmas party. Friends and families of our residents enjoyed a great buffet prepared by our talented culinary staff, as well as special entertainment and a visit from Santa! As you can see from the pictures below, guests of all ages whispered their special holiday wishes to Santa. As an added bonus this year, photographer Angela Boone volunteered her time and talent to take pictures of the residents and their families.
