Mother’s Day
This week we celebrated Mother’s Day with a special performance by Kent Appledoorn. Everyone, especially the ladies, enjoyed Kent’s up-close and personal style of entertainment. By the end of the show, everyone was singing, clapping, and dancing to his music from the 50’s and 60’s.

Oak Park Senior Living held its first SENIOR PROM. Residents enjoyed music from Wayne and the Boys, a scrumptious dessert, champagne, and dancing. Volunteers from Shepherd of the Valley assisted with decorating, doing makeup for the ladies, and escorting residents to and from the prom. Everyone enjoyed being a “teenager” for the evening and can’t wait until next year’s prom.

Easter fun, dancing, and flowers are sure signs of spring! Easter Pastor Shad Vork and his son visited residents to play music and share the Easter message. Everyone enjoyed the solos and the singalong songs. Flower Show Several residents from Oak Park Senior Living spent the afternoon at the Spring Flower Show at the Como Park Conservatory.
