Puppy Vists from CoCo’s Heart Rescue
Oak Park residents look forward to their puppy visits from CoCo’s Heart Rescue twice a month! CoCo’s Heart Rescue brings in puppies that are currently up for adoption to visit and play with the residents. Being with a dog can help reduce cortisol (a stress hormone), and help boost levels of the serotonin (the happy hormone). The first official day of Fall is September 22nd (just one week away!), and our tenants at Oak Park Senior Living are getting into the season’s spirit! Residents were busy working their fine motor skills making fall crafts, including painting Halloween pumpkin decorations (seen below). An afternoon well spent!

Last Thursday, some of our tenants enjoyed a pontoon ride on the St. Croix river, courtesy of the Let’s Go Fishing Organization. The trip included going under the Stillwater Bridge, which is still being constructed. What a beautiful day for a ride. Thank you, LGF!
