Saturday, June 13 was a very special day here at Oak Park Senior Living: One of our residents, Charlie H., turned 100! Two local Stillwater businesses donated all the fixings for root beer floats. The Lift Bridge Brewery donated handcrafted root beer, and Leo’s Malt Shop donated enough ice cream so that every Oak Park tenant was able to enjoy this yummy treat. We have been fortunate to have so many businesses, families, and local residents drop off treats, letters, drawings, and more to help make this difficult situation as good as it can be. …
Fun and Music-Filled Parade
We recently put on a fun and music-filled parade for our Oak Park Senior Living members. They sat on their balconies and patios to watch and sing along to some classic favorites. It’s hard to say who enjoyed the parade more – the participants or the audience!
