Tenants dressed up in creative costumes that included Mary Poppins, a unicorn, a red hat lady, and many variations of witches. 🧹🎃

We held our annual Oak Park Senior Living Halloween party on October 31st. The afternoon was filled with music, singing, and dancing courtesy of Wayne and The Boys. As you can see, many tenants got in the spirit and dressed up for the occasion! ??♀️?
Oak Park Senior Living’s very own Head Chef, Joel Carlson, took 3rd place in the Minor’s Flavor Expedition Recipe Contest using their required ingredient of cilantro pesto. He made cilantro pesto beef baked chile rellenos with tomato crema and pickled vegetables. Congratulations, Joel! ???

Many holiday celebrations have been taking place at Oak Park Senior Living. To start it off, we celebrated Halloween on October 31st with a spook-tacular party! We enjoyed music from Wayne and the Boys, ghoulish treats, and a costume contest. Check out our pictures from this fun event.
Our staff members and residents also honored our veterans with two special ceremonies. On November 8th, we recognized 37 veterans with a party, complete with entertainment and special recognition for each vet. On November 9th, the American Legion came and did a special flag raising program.
