Amazing staff at Oak Park Senior Living,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the excellent care and compassion Jean received. John and Jean were so blessed to have all of you. We can't thank you enough for making their journey together safe, happy and healthy. God bless all of you.

– The Richard B. familyTo all the wonderful caregivers and nursing staff,
Thank you for the care and fun you provided to our mom, during her time there. Thank you for the stories and memories you have shared with our family. Most importantly, thank you for the compassion and love you provided during mom's last week in her "home".
Kind regards,
Dear Dana,
You have a heart that understands, you make choices from the heart. You want the best for the people. Some days are hard but you dig into that heart and pull out kindness, wanting what's best for others and genuine caring for them. You show God's heart for His people! God is a God of love, continue on with that, it empowers so many lives.
I know there are days that are overwhelming, overworked, and you're tired, but I see you always pressing into your "A" game! Have a blessed day!
Thank you for the kind, compassionate care you gave to our father. We will be forever grateful.
– Family of Charles NThe best part of our experience was the staff.
I hope you know how comforting it was when we all walked away and knew they were cared for. The gals in the Memory Unit do their work like they love the residents. That is something that cannot be taught, it comes from within their hearts - The nursing staff, housekeeping and maintenance & kitchen also are all outstanding also.
Thanks for the good experience!
I wanted to thank your staff for their willingness to pursue allowing my Mom to have a very short visit today (about 10-12 minutes!) with two of her granddaughters who were coming through town. This was their only opportunity to see her (the travel schedule for the others changed so we are hoping they can come in a few days and do an unscheduled “balcony to sidewalk” short visit then).
I know the heat is awful today and I certainly didn’t want my dear Mother out in it, but the short time we had was extremely precious to her and to us. It brought me to tears to see her after such a long time, and for my nieces and Mom, it brought them tremendous joy to see and talk with each other.
So, although I thanked your staff repeatedly, esp. Sue who called to get special permission for the extra-short visit, I wanted to tell you again how very much we appreciated it and how much it meant to us, and how much it lifted my Mom’s spirits.
I know the COVID constraints are causing a lot of stress and extra work for all of you, but we truly appreciate all you do, and even these little things mean the world to us.
Please pass along our thanks again to those involved. Hope you have a restful holiday weekend!
Terri and Jaime:
I have been the head of staff at very large congregations and my wife was director of two Section 8 facilities for elderly. We are quite sensitive to the demands of large groups. Before my wife was executive of both facilities, one in Indiana and one in California, she was an activities director at a large retirement facility. She used to share with me that her responsibility in such a large retirement area was to keep the people involved in activities so that their concerns and complaints were minimized.
All this is to thank both of you for the continued communication and care you provide here at Senior Living and Oak Park Villas. Your constant information keeps us all informed and your personal response to any specific needs is incredibly competent. So as we continue through this difficult time I want to let you know how many of us feel quite secure.
May God bless you and your families as we all work through this time of virus.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful care you gave to mom while she lived with you. She could have not been in a better place with how well you worked to engage her in the community of Oak Park Senior Living. She will be missed by many people, family & friends. We are glad she is at peace. Thank you again.
– Family of Jo K.It has been the best place to handle the hardest thing I have ever done. You and your staff are the best! Your patience has been appreciated. Keep doing what you do!
– KarenEvery time I come to see Mom, I feel some apprehension and often cry on the way home. She is a shell, in many ways, of what she used to be. I pray, just bless our time together - and he does.
Today as I was leaving these leaves caught my eye. They had once been something that people would seek out in the fall to appreciate their beauty. They've been blown down in the wind and have disintegrated to a shell. Look, though, now they are intact - all of the veins of life still perfect. I asked a couple of people what they saw in them. "A rotten leaf." To me they are so beautiful in their "earthly imperfection." This to me was one of the many reminders I'm given when things are overwhelming.
Mom is intact and beautiful. Every time I watch you be with her I see it. I am so thankful that you are the one who can look at her as the woman she always was, not a shell, but beautiful as those adornments of youth have faded, sometimes more & more every day.
I love you for it!
Thank you for all you do every day to make our mother/grandmother feel safe, loved and welcome! Words could never express the peace we feel in having her here knowing she is in good hands.
– Sue J. FamilyYou both, as administrators, have a unique hands-on touch and a personal involvement in the needs of each of your residents. When a request is recieved there is an immediate response that I have not had prior to this building.
– Ken MDear Terri,
Just a little something to say a "BIG" thank you for all you do for the people and my dad at OPH! The gentle words you speak to him ministers to his heart! They need to know people care and all that they have. God bless you for everything.
A special thanks to all of the amazing staff at Oak Park Senior Living for taking such amazing care of our mom, Dorothe! We always felt secure that she was well taken care of since her stroke, and that gave us peace of mind. Please share with all who cared for her!
– The Conroy FamilyThanks so much for all your help so far with our move of Mom.
– CarolynThe building is so beautiful, but the people are what make it special. Every one of you bring your talent and caring to work very day. You made us feel like family. My dad and mom loved you and I still do. You took our lemons and made lemonade.
– Karen S.
